Jessica opened the doors of her family law practice in order to provide effective, practical, and most importantly, compassionate representation. She achieves her clients’ goals with a targeted yet comprehensive approach, and works with all family law issues such as divorce, child custody, paternity, and child support modification. Although armed with the skills and training in advocacy, Jessica is a strong proponent and leader in the field of collaborative law, having been trained by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals in Chicago and Washington, D.C. in 2009.

In 2006 while attending the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Jessica became a certified domestic relations mediator. The mediation option further compliments Jessica’s focus on resolving matters outside court. She remains actively engaged throughout the mediation and prides herself in reaching resolutions that end the dispute and move the parties forward.

For two years, Jessica represented abused and neglected children in her position as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Monroe County, Indiana. Still today, protecting the children’s interest remains at the center of her legal representation of parents. Jessica is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Boone County Bar Association, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Central Indiana Association of Collaborative Professionals.

Outside work, Jessica enjoys nature and spending time with her husband, children, and dog, Heidi, who happens to be a frequent visitor at the office.
